Each scoop plate is about 9 inches round and its raised edge is approximately 2 inches high. The top of the plate is glazed, so the the fork or spoon glides smoothly over the surface. The bottom of each plate is left in rough pottery condition, so that the scoop plate sits solidly upon the table surface. Since each plate is created individualy, exact dimentions may vary slightly.
Scoop plates are safe for dishwashers, microwaves and ovens up to 400 degrees.
